Rhino Short Dosing Cup - Weight Calibrated 3PK

Rhino Precision Dosing Cups are weight calibrated at a tolerance of within ±0.5 grams of the 101.1 g mark. This precise weight makes for quick dosing without having to constantly tare your scales. With cafes always looking to speed up their workflow, having the same weight dose cups you can remove a step all together. 

When manufactured, there is a natural weight variation between the dose cups. The standard Rhino Dosing Cup, made from extruded stainless steel with welded wings, can vary by up to 6 grams due to natural manufacturing tolerances. This means taring between each dose is still necessary, which might not sound like much, but in high-volume settings, every second counts.

Even Acaia, renowned for precision, only guarantees a tolerance of ±1.5 g, still not accurate enough to eliminate taring entirely.

As an experiment, Rhino weighed over four dozen Rhino cups and discovered that 17 of them fell within ±0.5 grams of the 101.1 g mark, our most common weight band. These have been grouped into Precision 3-Packs, each one marked on the base for traceability and quick identification.
